Mains of Taymouth Golf Course的点评
点评：Yet another example of a delightful surprise both in terms of condition and layout of the course. The welcome at the course was yet magnificent (first class), and despite it being the members competition day, I was neatly facilitated at no inconvenience and played uninterrupted just ahead of members.
The golf course weaves sympathetically between mature wooded areas and the river, with an amphitheatre of the finest tall scots spruces ever present, which in the early morning rising sun not only looked glorious but smelt redolent.
In addition to the neat green complexes with strong bunkering, an existing stone wall runs across the fairway at the first par 5 hole, forcing the player to lay up or take on the long carry, a great feature adding to the strategic challenge of the course.
I think you would struggle to find fault with the enjoyment you get playing a round here, and again urge a visit if only to enjoy the invigorating aesthetics on offer.
