点评:We went to visit the Flodden Visitors Centre and Battlefield, it was a really interesting and informative outing. The visitor centre is an old red telephone box that is packed with information and leaflets. (You can make a donation either online or in the collection box to help with the upkeep.) It's just a short drive to the carpark and then a walk up the hill to the Memorial ( suitable for pushchairs and mobility aids). Once up there you can see an information board one of six over the whole site. They are packed with information about the events that occurred there.
On the day we went we were lucky enough to meet Clive a volunteer who manages the site, he had just cut the grass before we got there. He was fantastic an encyclopedia of knowledge he willingly shared with us.
Well worth a visit, we will definitely visit again. It is also dog friendly.
