点评：PA’ATI Excursions are the ones to use when choosing to visit the Reef Island. Good boat, safe and happy crew.
We, couple in our 60’s, started our tour going through the Tiputa Pass, which is fun, followed by finding the pod of dolphins. Leon, the Captain was excellent and ride the waves back through the pass with the dolphins following, which was very cool to see.
We then headed across the lagoon for 45 minutes to reach the Reef Island. Once there the scenery is stunning. Amazing palm tree beaches and beautiful clear blue water. You are shown an area in which to snorkel, it’s ok not an amazing amount of fish to see. After an hour you are taken on foot to the reef which looks prehistoric. From here you walk right across the lagoon to the bbq area. The bbq was excellent, communal seating by the water. Fish, chicken, bread, rice, beer, rum, juice and water. After the bbq Leon instructed those that wanted to weave a handbag. It was really good fun and everyone had a good time. Back in the boat and headed to the ‘aquarium’ an area where thousands of fish gather. Snorkel on and enjoy the fish. The crew played traditional Polynesian music and everyone enjoyed the chill vibes. Overall it was an excellent experience.
Absolutely bring the following items: Hat, sunglasses, sea shoes and sunscreen, snorkel / mask and a towel.
