Very unprofessional and impatient instructors

点评：I enrolled myself and my teenage sons on the beginner course with esf on our family trip to meribel. Our first instructor, Natalie, we found intially abrupt then quickly felt a lack of patience and understanding with a group of beginners! She was both rude and offensive and by the end of the second day my sons did not want to continue their lessons. On my second day I had voluntarily asked to be changed in to another group as I had been made to feel that I was totally incompetent and holding the group back…considering I already felt nervous…this made things much worse! The second instructor…Valson was just as impatient and although I did not feel mocked and intimidated, when asked if I was nervous his answer was ‘well don’t ski then!!’ He also made derogatory sexual comments within the l soon. Extremely unhelpful and inappropriate! On the 3rd day I attended the main meribel office and the kind lady in the office and the manager discussed options…offering a further instructor for a reduced amount of time. I accepted this and thankfully my third instructor corinne helped to rebuild some confidence in my ability and I finally gained some enjoyment in my long awaited and expensive family ski trip. I will thankfully be trying skiing again in the future…but we most certainly will not be using esf!!! Some serious training needs to be done in relation to patience, reassurance and professionalism with the instructor staff!!
