点评：I highly recommend checking out this wonderful facility by taking the Behind-The-Scenes tour. You will be paired with an expert staff member that is not only very knowledgeable about the lion species but also knows each of the lion's birthdays and particular lineage. I was very fortunate to be paired up with Ali (like in the Karate Kid, not Muhammed Ali). Ali is a young professional that graduated from the Teaching Zoo at Moorpark College in California. Her love for these magnificent big cats, as well as the avian and tortoise residents on property, showed in her warm playful interactions with each animal. Simply visiting the ranch with a general admission ticket isn't enough because you gain no insight with any of the lions there. I also highly recommend taking part in the lion feeding opportunity. Seriously, where else are you going to get a chance to experience such a thing. They give you 6 large Nebraska meatballs, and you get to feel the pressure from the lion's tongue as it licks it from the feeding tube. I enjoyed it so much that I purchased a second feeding. The first feeding was with their largest male, Winston, The second feeding was with their female, Cheeto. I also purchased their tortoise feeding. Spike was very fast for a tortoise, and he was hungry. I was a solo visitor, but I was able to have someone from my tour group to record my Winston feeding on my phone. A staff member volunteered to record my Cheeto feeding, and Ali recorded me and took photos of my time with Spike. This was one of my favorite activities during my visit to Las Vegas. Lion Habitat Ranch is a must-see facility for all you animal lovers out there and suitable for everyone.
