GORDON CRAIG THEATRE. Approach road - all street lights are out. Lift in theatre is not in operation

点评：Went to see a show this evening, the show was great, no complaints there, very entertaining but there are a couple of real issues I believe are necessary to highlight.
1. The theatre can be accessed via the leisure centre entrance , upon entering, we usually make our way to the lift which is situated in the gym area of the leisure centre. We were informed the lift was out of action, (apparently it has been for a while). We were advised that we could go up the stairs or enter the theatre foyer level by going back outside the theatre and utilising the ramp. We could also request someone from the theatre staff team to come and assist, presumably via wheelchair, to enable access. None of these ‘solutions’ are really dignified or disabled friendly (in as much as a lift is) for those with mobility or heart conditions, it puts extra strain on them, reducing the enjoyable experience of the evening at the theatre !
2. The access road along London Road where the few disabled parking places are located has NO operational street lights. So when we left the theatre I felt many of the older visitors were put in a vulnerable position.
I will update my review as and when things change.
