点评：Fantastic day, before I had even left the car park for the morning woodland hide there were pheasants, yellow hammer, greenfinch, dunnocks, many tit varieties, and bullfinch all in the car park area.I then spent the morning in the woodland hide marveling at the number of woodland birds that come in to feed and then the red squirrels appear. 2.5 hours of non stop action. I saw coal tits, blue tits, long tailed tits, great tits, chaffinch, robin, blackbirds, nuthatch, tree creepers, and a greater spotted woodpecker. The red squirrels are so much fun, leaping from platform to platform and chasing one another all over the place. Grabbing nuts and then hiding them all over the local area. After the mornings excitement I went to the Red Kite viewing hide and again it was pretty much non stop action from when the food is put out. Even prior to the feeding the kites were gathering so lots of opportunity for photos before, during and after the feed.
Will certainly be back in the not too distant future.
