点评:If you love monkeys you will love this place but please be cautious and don’t bring anything with you - no backpack, no food, no water bottles, a camera is probably fine as long as you’re prepared to potentially lose it. They don’t seem as interested in cameras but one took my water bottle and another got quite aggressive with a guy and ripped his shirt trying to get a coke bottle off him.
I was then filming some monkeys from a distance - as I was being very careful - and one jumped on my back from behind, bit my leg and tried to get my backpack. It really took me off guard. I ended up in hospital getting rabies jabs and herpes b tablets. Will need to go back for 5 more over my trip. So yes… monkey hill can be a wonderful adventure and I don’t want to put you off but you need to remember you’re in their territory and they are wild monkeys that can and do bite and scratch, my husband loved it but please be very vigilant. I was being extra careful not to get too close and still got bit. Take a stick from the guides if offered one and don’t bring anything with you. Even though we had no food they saw my backpack and assumed we had something nice in there…
