Fantastic Halloween Tobogganing!
Mendip Activity Centre的点评
点评：As a family we love a visit to Mendip Activity Centre every now and then. We've previously visited for Frisbee Golf and Survival Skills (both highly recommended) and this time we took our 8 year old daughter and her cousin for Halloween Tobogganing last October.
We booked an early morning session (individual spaces aged 4 - 12) before it got too busy and parking and check in were pretty quick. While we waited for the instructor the kids loved playing amongst the Halloween decorations - including zombies on a screen and fog machine. The theming was brilliant!
Once on the smaller slope our daughter and her cousin enjoyed 30 minutes of tobogganing to spooky music with a few skeletons hanging from above. There were several other children on the slope too, but it never felt crowded and the kids had plenty of space. Parents can watch from the benches at the top of the slope too.
Afterwards we made our way to the cafe (Alpine Lounge) for drinks and Halloween sweets (included in the kids ticket price) and for the kids to relax - 30 minutes is plenty of time on the slope, they were absolutely shattered by the end of the session!
Make sure to arrive in plenty of time for the safety briefing and wear long sleeves, trousers and gloves! Prices differ depending on session time (earlier and later slots tend to be the cheapest) Highly recommended.
