Walesby Forest的点评
点评：Just returned from another amazing week at Walesby with two 11-year-olds, and once again, we absolutely loved it! ❤️
The staff are fantastic, the facilities are brilliant and the whole place has such an amazing, welcoming atmosphere. We’ve already decided we can’t wait to come back next year!
Firstly, Morgan, you are an absolute superstar! I hope your sanity survived the week with Luke & Charlotte 😂 They absolutely adored you, and you were genuinely one of the highlights of their week. Thank you for putting up with their constant chatter and making everything so much fun for them!
Secondly, Arlo, the kids literally insisted on driving down to the lake to say goodbye, so apologies for their annoyance and for them constantly yapping away 😂 I’m glad you survived the week! Thank you for laughing along with their idiocy, encouraging them to have a go at things they were scared of and generally just being absolutely fab.
It was genuinely lovely watching the kids come out of their comfort zones throughout the week and try things they initially thought they were too scared to do. The Leap of Faith and Wobble Pole are definitely must-dos, and the crate stack was another huge favourite!
And thank you for the campfire entertainment. Obviously, the fire ban meant there couldn’t actually be a campfire, but you guys still kept us entertained. We were the only ones who turned up, so you literally ended up dancing and singing just for the three of us 😂 We have some fabulous videos of it and it was honestly such a brilliant, unexpected memory from the week. We had an absolute blast!
Tom, we said it last year, but the kids absolutely love you! You’re amazing, and they were so excited to see you again before you left in the bar. Thank you again for being so brilliant with them.
And another shout-out to Archie (the kids were convinced that was your name although I can’t be sure? 😂) for making me feel slightly more sane on my final day and chatting to me while the kids did the crate stack. Sometimes you just need another adult to talk to while two 11-year-olds throw themselves around!
I also want to mention just how safe and welcoming Walesby feels. The kids were able to wander around the site independently and safely without me worrying about them, which made such a difference to the week. They had that lovely feeling of freedom and independence while I could actually relax knowing they were absolutely fine.
A couple of little constructive suggestions, just because we love the place and would love to see it get even better.
- A washer and dryer facility would be amazing for anyone staying for a full week. Especially when you happen to sleep through a thunderstorm and wake up to discover that absolutely everything is drenched! 😂 Being able to throw some clothes in the wash and dryer would be a lifesaver.
- A little more variety in the shop would also be fantastic, particularly for longer stays. Having more options for food and general essentials would mean you don’t need to leave site for stock-ups, which would make the whole experience even easier.
But honestly, those are only little things. The staff, activities, atmosphere and the freedom the kids get to have are what make Walesby so special.
The kids have come home exhausted, filthy, full of stories, absolutely buzzing from everything they’ve done and already asking when we’re going back, so I think that says everything!
Thank you to every single member of staff for another fantastic week. You all work so hard to make Walesby what it is, and it really doesn’t go unnoticed.
We can’t wait to see you all again next year! ❤️

另外，感谢你们准备的篝火晚会。虽然由于防火规定无法真正生起篝火，但你们依然为我们带来了欢乐。那天我们是唯一到场的人呢。所以最后你真的就只为我们三个人跳舞、唱歌呢😂 我们拍下了一些超棒的视频，说真的，这成了那周里一段美妙又意想不到的回忆。我们玩得开心极了！
汤姆，去年我们就说过，孩子们可喜欢你了！你太棒了，在你离开酒吧之前，他们兴奋得不得了。再次感谢你对他们如此用心。再次感谢Archie（孩子们坚称那是你的名字，不过我也不确定呢？😂）——在我最后一天时，是你让我感觉心情平静了不少；当孩子们在堆砌木箱时，也是你陪我聊天。有时候，当两个11岁的孩子到处疯跑时，真的就需要有个成年人来聊聊天啊！
我还要说一下，Walesby给人的感觉真是既安全又温馨。孩子们可以独自在园区里自由活动，而我完全不必为他们担心。这真的让这一周变得大不一样。孩子们体验到了那种自由与独立的美好感觉，而我也得以安心放松，因为知道他们一切都好。
这里有几个小小的改进建议，只是因为我们很喜欢这个地方，希望它能变得更好。
——为那些住满一周的客人提供洗衣机和烘干机就太棒了。尤其是当你在雷雨中睡过头，醒来后发现所有东西都湿透的时候！😂 能把衣服扔进洗衣机和烘干机里真是帮了大忙啊。
——商店里的商品种类要是再多一些就更好了，尤其是对于那些需要长期入住的人。如果有更多食品和生活必需品可供选择，就不必离开营地去采购了，这样整个体验也会更加轻松。
不过说真的，这些都只是小事而已。正是这里的员工、各种活动、氛围，以及孩子们所能享受的自由空间，才让Walesby如此特别。孩子们回到家时疲惫不堪、浑身脏兮兮的，但嘴里不停地说着各种趣事，显然对所经历的一切兴奋不已。他们甚至已经开始问我们什么时候能再去，我觉得这就说明了一切！
感谢每一位工作人员又度过了如此精彩的一周。是你们的辛勤付出才让Walesby变得如此美好，这一切我们都看在眼里、记在心里。
我们迫不及待地期待明年再与大家相见！❤️
