Fantastic luxury spa experience

点评：We visited the spa on a heatwave August bank holiday and it was absolutely glorious. The rooftop terrace with infinity bubble pool was amazing. Lots of space and sun loungers. Terrace bar served really nice cocktails and the pizzas were excellent. The drinks are on the expensive side but that’s not out of the norm for a high end spa.
The indoor areas of the spa are also high quality. Plenty of different areas and thermal experiences to use. Even though there were a lot of people it was never crowded or too busy as there are so many different spaces. Plenty of lounging space too although I suspect this may be busier when the weather isn’t as good.
There is also another outdoor area with pool and hot tubs plus sun loungers. This also has a bar and tapas which we didn’t try on this visit.
We stayed overnight and the hotel room was great, we had a luxury double, plenty of room and a comfortable bed. The room had air conditioning and a complementary bottle of bubbles for our stay.
We had dinner in Bertram’s which was delicious though the service was slow. But if you’re on a spa break you’re not rushing.
We finished off with breakfast in the hotel restaurant which was honestly the best buffet cooked breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Everything was good quality and cooked to perfection. There was also nice choice of fruit, pastries, Bircher muesli and yoghurts.
I’d definitely recommend a visit to the spa for the day or over night and we’ll certainly come again.
