点评：I’m horrified by the conditions at the so-called “pseudo zoo” in Bohol. This place is a nightmare for animals – absolutely disgraceful and heartbreaking. Many of the animals are visibly injured and suffering. I saw a lizard with a bitten-off, bleeding nose and a snake with one eye literally hanging out. It was shocking and deeply upsetting.
The macaques were crammed into tiny, filthy cages, pacing restlessly or sitting in corners, clearly depressed and neglected. Birds and parrots were kept in appallingly small cages, with no enrichment whatsoever – many looked despondent and miserable. I even saw a dead lovebird just lying in its cage.
The animals are not just poorly cared for, they’re clearly abused and ignored. There is nothing educational or ethical about this place. Completely unacceptable. Avoid at all costs.
