点评:This is one of Michigan's most unique small town experiences. It feels like you are stepping back in time to when fishing was one of the forefront industries in the region (which to some degree, it still is!). Fishtown is free to visit, but you will be tempted by its many shops and restaurants. There is a nice sit-down restaurant (The Cove/Ricks), a sandwich shop (Village Cheese Shanty), a candy store, and multiple other clothing stores and markets. It is also the headquarters for the ferry service that provides transportation to both Manitou Islands. The Falling Waters Lodge is also housed within Fishtown. The Leland Food and Wine Festival is hosted right next to Fishtown every year too. Parking can be difficult during the summer, and not much stays open in the winter. It is still beautiful to walk through though, regardless of the season. You can spend as little as a few minutes, to a half day here.
