点评：Good trip. We arrived at approximately 12:30 pm and made our way towards the entrance of the museum. After paying the admission fee, we began to explore the museum. There were several artifacts out for display, along with informational plaques, detailing what we were seeing in front of us. The museum was on the smaller side, but quite informative. After viewing the museum, we made our way outside and walked over to the house and barn area. We viewed the outdoor barn and met some of the animals that were housed there. We then went inside the house, where we received a 30 minute guided tour of the inside of the building. The tour guide took us from room to room, while giving us some background information on the house, and pointing out important artifacts. After viewing the house, we made our way back outside and walked over to the canal, just in time for the next boat ride. The boat was pulled by several mules, just like it was several decades ago. There was a tour guide on the boat that provided some narration about the town of Piqua and the actual canal. The ride was peaceful and we were able to enjoy the scenery as we went up and down the canal.
Tip: I recommend spending 2.5 hours here if you truly want to see everything.
