A fun experience, but upstiars needs better cooling!
The Salon Varietes Theatre的点评
点评：Selecting the perfromance was easy via the webite. Booking was easy via the phone and the booking clerk spoke excellent English. Ticket collections was via a window by th balcony stair where you can collect your tickets prior to the performance.
The theatre is a delight, and the seating is reasonably comfortable. HOWEVER, come prepared, 'cos - It's hot upstairs in the Balcony and the electric fans dont really do much to aleviate the heat.
Sound and lighting were reasonable, although I think the vocals could have been brighter by adding more room in the tops and maybe pushing up the lower freqs to reduce the muddiness.
There is a bar and a seating area out front, but come early if you want to order a half time beverage as its packed once more then twenty people turn up for tickets.
On the whole we had a pleasant evening and the surrunding area aftrwards makes for a pleasant walk.
I dont think ticket pices are excessive and I hop ethat the theatre will continue to thrive and develop its renovation programmes to include more air movement.
