点评：My partner and I made a last-minute reservation here for our anniversary, and we’re so glad they managed to accommodate us at short notice, as we had an exciting and memorable day out.
We chose to do clay pigeon shooting and quad biking, having done neither before, but Sarah, the instructor, put us at ease for both activities. We weren’t placed with other people, so we were in our own separate group for both activities, which made it feel more personal. T
For the quad biking, we had a short introduction on how to operate the bikes, and then we followed Sarah speeding around the countryside. The trail consisted of open fields, deep ruts and narrow woodland trails; there was plenty of terrain to challenge our driving abilities and to enjoy the outdoors.
We were nervous for the clay pigeon shooting, but it turned out to be a blast! Sarah is a great instructor and very encouraging, and she genuinely wanted us to do well, offering advice in areas I was struggling in. Overall, I ended up hitting way more shots than expected which was a buzz. Not only was it fun, but it was educational. There were good safety practices instilled at all times, which was reassuring.
Sarah sent us some photos and videos she’d taken of us while quad biking, which we appreciated. Her friendliness, patience, and passion for the activities were the icing on the cake to a wonderful day.
Additional info: There’s plenty of parking on site, toilets/welfare facilities are available, and you can lock your belongings away while partaking in some activities. PPE can be borrowed for free from the centre for the quad biking.
Would recommend to anyone, and no doubt we’ll be back for the other activities some time!
