点评:IN the Business district sits the Sierra Leone National Museum that is home to items and treasures of Sierra Leone. These sculptures, art, fiber, artifacts, photos show the struggles for independence and to conserve tribal
History. The new curator is a loud spoken, out- going dynamic person who gives offers an equally loud, dynamic tour of the museum. They do not alllow photos of any kind inside but I was able to capture the outside murals of tributes to LocaI icons of freedom. My favorite part of the museum is the masks and costumes used in the traditional and on going tribal dances and presentations.
The museum items are not preserved or conserved, open to the natural environment with windows open with no climate control
The gift shop is disorganized and contains great historical postcards and contemporary sandals

博物馆的物品没有保存或保护,暴露在自然环境中,窗户敞开,没有气候控制
礼品店杂乱无章,里面有很棒的历史明信片和当代凉鞋
