The Hovercraft Museum的点评
点评：I have heard about this museum for a while and finally last Saturday along, with my family got to visit it.
Excellent value for money.. plus saved a bit more by buying a family ticket when we arrived.
Whilst there is no on site parking, there is loads of on street parking not quite, but almost outside. So no issues. Obviously you need to pay for this but that is now commonplace.
Inside the museum are loads of different types and styles as well as the iconic Princess Ann. Many of these you are able to go into.
We didnt do the group tour as with 2 almost 9 year olds may struggle to keep their attention however we were lucky that we started talking to volunteer Martin (who was brilliant) and he also gave us a great insight into the different types and he engaged really well with them as well as us.
Looking forward to when he has finished learning how to control the full size dalek that is next to the hovercraft used in one of the old Dr Who TV series. (Even though that one featured the Sea Devils!)
They loved being able to pretend to fly several of them.
My son has already said he really wants to visit again and my daughter said she really enjoyed the quiz that made you have to look for the information.
Overall, this place is definitely worth a visit and is great for all ages.
All the volunteers we met were kind and friendly and happy to chat.
