点评:We visited this evening for Tiger Who Came to Tea, which was nothing like the book or fantastic cartoon movie. That's probably why the theatre wasn't filled to the brim! Anyhow, we thought our G had done a poo so I asked where the disabled toilets were after the performance. The usher said that side closest to us was closed. There was nothing near the ladies. I came down the stairs and saw two staff and asked where I could change a baby. They took me to a corner disabled toilet, but inside there were no baby changing facilities. By this time I was fuming at being lied to by staff. The staff member outside the disabled toilet, kept asking "are you okay", and I said that no one would help me to show me to the toilet with baby changing facilities. She said "oh that's on the other side". Hmm that side that was already closed, I was already told by a staff member upon leaving the stalls.
Then the lady gaslighted me by saying, "we are all volunteers here. We don't deserve to be talked to like that." I said no one would help me, and she just closed the door and didn't want to admit their unhelpfulness. Everything was so rushed and so unprofessional. Make it absolutely clear where disabled and baby changing toilets are, as there were no signings. This was a children's performance, and you need to have the facilities where parents can easily change their babies without having to put their child's head on a handbag on the floor.
If you are volunteers, then clearly it's not being run in a professional way, and perhaps you need to hire staff. This theatre is not for children, and does not have the facilities to cater towards children and families.
This is an honest review. This was the first time we had attended this theatre, and it will probably be the last too!
