点评:Booked this tour the day before going, excited by the NatGeo article and couldn't be happier that I found and booked this experience, it is absolutely worth the money (plus, as I understood, the company also works as an environmental and social organisation, employing locally in the community and taking care of the ecosystems of the river Abatan).
Our group guide was Rey and you can really feel the love and care he has for the land, the people and us, in teaching us about the mangroves, the island and the work they do. It is an amazing nature experience and also a cool sport one, you will feel it in your paddling arms, but it is mentioned from the beginning that this is not a rushing tour so we all took our time, without pressure.
The mangrove kayak was absolutely awesome, but I have to say the highlight would have to definitely be the night firefly watching. This was, without doubt, one of the coolest things I've done, in the dark, kayaking on a river and glazing at tiny moving stars on the mangrove trees (and I confess that I was a bit afraid of being out there at night, but instead it was quiet, relaxing and beautiful).
PS: bring mosquito repellent, you'll need it 😅
