Beautiful lake, nice campsite, not a hiking destination, STICKERS!
Fort Cobb State Park的点评
点评：We camped at catfish cove site 15. We wanted to be near the playground and the bathroom. I really like this site. Great view of the lake and the playground kept my 5 year old happy with because there were kids for him to play with. Bathrooms were clean, but a little run down compared to the other state parks we have visited. But the showers were hot and that’s awesome. There are a lot of STICKERS- you don’t want to walk your dogs in the grass! We had to stay on the road. Seems like a great fishing lake. The marina store was really nice with a dock you could pay $5 to fish off. They also had a little restaurant- we never ate there so I can’t vouche for it, but nice option if you don’t want to cook. We wanted to hike but there aren’t any trails near the campground we were in. We couldn’t find any info on the map about trails and the office was closed so we flagged down a ranger and she told us how to get to one. It was a 12 minute drive and the trail wasn’t really a trail at all. It was basically in another campground that went along the lake but we couldn’t really see a path or where it went beside through a campground. And the stickers were so bad we couldn’t walk our dogs there. I don’t think I’d take dogs in the hot summer time because you really can’t walk in the grass anywhere.
