Birthday treat - a half day indulgence spa

点评：My two daughters and myself were gifted a half day indulgence spa which we decided to use for my birthday. Not something I’d ever done before!
It was a very cold morning and the initial entrance to the spa was not very inviting. Cold and condensation on the windows. Yes the building and decor is tired, with water coming through the ceiling in areas in the reception areas, however we cannot fault our time at Lion Quays spa.
We were able to use all the facilities and enjoyed every single one.. we also had massages, where all three of us were treated wonderfully. This was my first ever massage at the ripe old age of 56, and it was wonderful. We all came out so relaxed.
The spa is actually super clean, I was shocked to read someone complaining about the cleanliness. This was not our experience. I did note one of the ladies in the pool changing rooms washing the walls, floors and cubicle doors and I was impressed.
The large jacuzzi was amazing and my favourite, daughters preferred the saunas.
We did note that although it was meant to be serene in the jacuzzi area there were an awful lot of spotlights that had blown.
If I could give one suggestion to enhance the building - maybe shut for two weeks, put right the issues with leaks and decor and have a grand reopening. Everything else was brilliant.
Will definitely return.
