Nice but could be so much better.

点评：Visited here today on the Discovery Day Spa booked through Spa seekers. Nice check in and staff although they initially couldn’t find my booking. Changing rooms a little cold and basic, no nice shampoo/conditioner/handwash and plain body wash dispenser in showers.
Spa itself, the most disappointing aspect being that the outdoor spa area you see in the pictures isn’t actually available. No access to gardens, outdoors, views of the water as in the photos which it what most appealed to me when booking. The thermal spa was nice although too dark and very noisy due to water jets and people trying to talk over them, but warm and pleasant none the less. Swimming pool a little cold, but a great area a fantastic size, was refreshing to go in there after a hot sauna. Lunch was tapas, which was really nice however the restaurant itself is very cold and not a nice experience when you are in a dampish robe, it would be nice for it to be warmer in there, it was freezing. Felt like I rushed my lunch to get back into the sauna to warm up.
My favourite area of the spa was the Himalayan salt room with the swinging beds, I was in there most of the time, it was so relaxing and enjoyable.
Would I return? I don’t think I would as I think it is a little worn and dated. Very misleading with the outdoor spa area in the photos, and for £120 for the day I’d have expected a little more than what was on offer. Could be amazing if they did it up in areas, created a nice spa smell throughout ( the changing rooms smelt a little damp) and just made it feel a more special and luxurious.
