点评:We were staying in Porto and had been tipped off to go to the coastal region of Foz do Douro (about 4km downriver, by the estuary). The tram leaves from the Infante tram stop and trundles in a rather rickety and bumpy way all along the river front next to the road and stops just before getting into Foz itself. Try to get to the front of the queue to make sure that you do in fact get on (in busy times of the day/year) but we found we were fine at 9.30, even though there were quite a number already in the line. 6 euros each (2025) so had gone up quite a bit since we read the review we did but that was fine as it's about the experience of these wonderful old machines. All varnished wood and clanky machinery, which is part of the charm. There are other trams which run through other parts of the city but we felt this was the one to take and were gald we had done so.
