点评:As with many reviewers, I took the metro to Krangi station and then took the bus two stops to the entrance (definitely easier than walking if it's hot, as it usually will be). I did not actually see any signs for the cemetery at the bus stop, although they may have existed, but a friendly local pointed out where to go. It's about a 400 m walk up a sideroad to the entrance to the cemetery.
It is huge, and rather heartbreaking when you see the ages of many of the people buried here. There is also a large pavilion with plaques listing people who were cremated or whose bodies were not located. The pavilion can be useful for shelter if one of Singapore's frequent but often brief rain showers occurs while you are here!
The displays and plaques near the entrance were useful to get some idea of Singapore history in WWII, including one which shows the significant battle sites.
