点评：Weekday girls trip to Orlando from Ft Myers. Found this last minute as we all love kayaking. Self service kayak rental right by the launch. Didnt know what to expect but wow we had an amazing time paddling thru the mangroves and cypress trees. Lots of birds turtles and wildlife. Was pretty serene and quit nice once u left the launch as its near a busy roadway. We went south and came to a sign that said to turn around now …but u can see the river went on. We went further and came to another sign (about 10
Min further) that said dangerous conditions ahead turn around now. There was kind of a current there with a much narrower path. We turned around at that point and headed back. As guessing something w the current and would be paddling against it on way back but would love to know why the sign was there stating dangerous conditions. This was an amazing kayaking adventure and prob would do it again as so close to Orlando- but not in the city hustle. I think it was around $35 for two hour rental . Also boardwalks for waking and some history and buildings on site we checked out after kayaking.
