点评：Please don’t be put off by some negative reviews when I read some of those reviews I was debating to book & visit or not! I’m so glad we chose to stay & give this beautiful hotel a go. We arrived on Sunday 16th February 2025 before check in time so we could explore the local area which was lovely scenic leisurely time. Near to check in time we went back to the hotel at reception the welcome staff were warm friendly & very attentive with all information needed. Our room had everything you needed & very clean & tidy & the view we had was the best overlooking the grounds of the garden, was lovely sitting at our table with a glass of wine enjoying the view & relaxing. Once we unpacked we explored the interior of the hotel absolutely beautiful historical findings of its heritage & the decor of the timing keeps within the scope of it all stunning. The out door grounds just as stunning & an enjoyable walk around. Once at the bar area we enjoyed a drink & some snacks enjoying the cosy relaxing atmosphere again the staff were attentive. We booked in for dinner within the hotels restaurant that evening again the staff were amazing accommodating to our exact table request which if we had to wait wouldn’t of been a problem but within minutes we were seated at chosen table overlooking the grounds with the lighting & candles set the ambience. The dining staff were fully professional with info of that evenings menu & specials. We had a basket of breads, butter & oils to start all home made, mains my partner opted for pork belly seasonal sautéed vegetables,mash potatoes & a tasty gravy. I went for the sea bass with prawns & samphire with a tasty creamy sauce. Dessert we had white chocolate raspberry cheesecake with white chocolate shavings & a coulis drizzle. After we went back to the bar to relax. The next morning we went for breakfast there was a choice of continental to a full English lots of variations. Then we enjoyed the spa facilities which again very relaxing. We will definitely be visiting again. Thank you to all staff even if you did have any constructive criticism at the time please inform the staff as they are more than happy to rectify anything there & then. To the hotels manager you should be very proud of all your staff what a great team of people dedicating their roles to all your guests. Thank you Hotel Welcombe Spa
