There is a no video rule. Instead of approaching with kindness, 2 people in my group were scolded very rudely by staff "NO VIDEO NO VIDEO, ONLY PICTURE". How are we supposed to know that in advance? How is yelling at your customers helping? No "excuse mes, pleases, thank yous, or desculpe / por favor were offered", just a blunt rebuke, and no thank yous after we apologised for breaking this rule that we had only just learned about. Strange behaviour treating your customers like badly behaved children. Perhaps I am expecting politeness where I shouldn't, but it ruined the experience for me.
A no video rule makes some sense, but you need to inform your customers BEFORE they do it, not after. Terrible business practice. Just post signs throughout the exhibit or inform your customers upon entry. Please don't yell at your customers! You can gently inform them that they are breaking your rule which there was absolutely NO advance warning about. Why so rude? I was unable to focus on the beauty and rich history of your stunning museum after being scolded instead of being asked politely not to record a 3s video that I deleted immediately.
