点评：The prices went up from $5 to $10 since last summer. I grew up here and we paid $0 to enjoy the river. The money is not the issue, however. I paid $10 to a very nice lady that lived down the road for letting me park in front of her house and she didn’t even ask, which is the whole point. The old man that lived on the entrance to the river charged $5 to park in his yard, and had a little store in his patio with candy, water and popsicles he made himself, super sweet and quaint. The very scary young men manning the “parking,” (we tried parking on the street to avoid them) are extremely rude and threaten us if we didn’t pay $10 for the car and &1 per person. It felt like a shake down. We decided it wasn’t worth the risk. Even if we paid, leaving the car in their “care” felt unsafe. Bullies!!
