点评：My wife and I were on our second cruise visit to Nassau and I convinced her to stop at the Bahamas Historical Society and Museum. We missed it on our first trip so I was glad for the second opportunity and it was a very worthwhile stop.
We were very impressed with the depth and abundance if information and artifacts in the museum. We were the only visitors at that time and the President of the Society, Mrs. Andrea Major, told us she would give us a brief history and let us explore. Well Mrs. Major is so filled up with information that has to come out and she really gave us a guided tour that was totally unexpected and very appreciated. It was a lesson on the history, people, the geography, the culture, and the government of the Bahamas. They request a $5 per person visitor donation and it was well worth the stop.
