Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve的点评
点评：We visit the estuary every time we are in the area and that is at least once a year. We love this place! It’s free and open to the public and full of activities to do. It is handicap accessible as there is an elevator to access the raised exhibit building.
They have a nice inside area with activities that are very interesting for many ages. Pick up the scavenger hunt sheet at the door. The aquariums hold many of the local saltwater marine life. Pictures on the side of each tank make it easy and fun to identify each fish or other aquatic life.
There are interesting films and presentations on different marine life that live near and on the island.
Outside there are raised walking paths. One ends at the bay with a telescope on the deck. There is a laminated nature walk handout that is available to make the hike more interesting and help you identify different plant life.
