点评：It’s nicknamed Korea’s Santorini, but I think its tumbledown rainbow style is closer in spirit to Italy, either the wedding cake tiers of Positano or the more ramshackle Cinque Terre villages. Built in a valley with a steep slope, the buildings here have been similarly painted in bright colors on multilayered streets and twisting alleyways. Up until 2009, it was a neighborhood more like the favelas in Rio de Janeiro, poor and riddled with crime, but then the government decided to renovate the area into a cultural hub where they turned vacated houses into retail shops and art galleries. Fanciful public art is omnipresent. There are a couple of established routes you can follow (Gamnae 2-ro and Gamnae 1-ro), and each one starts with spectacular views of the entire village. Eventually we made our way to the Stairs to See Stars, an art-filled staircase down to ground level. Santorini is Greece’s Gamcheon.
