点评：This cemetery has historical significance the East Timorese. The site of a horrific massacre by the Indonesians. It's best to visit here after visiting some museums or doing some research and getting background information.
The graves randomly arranged meaning it can be difficult to walk in some areas without stepping on parts of a grave. There is no alignment or pattern to them. There is various colours and sizes, and some more intact than others and made with various materials. There are prominent graves likes that of Sebastiao Gomes here. But some can be difficult to find without assistance.
The Cemetery and it surrounds has been undergoing some renovations and upgrades of late which was still ongoing when i visited.
If you want to know about the nation's history then you need to visit this Cemetery with its stories and let the stories and events that occurred sink in
