Disappointing & Annoying Pooja experience!
Amritaghateswarar-Abirami Temple的点评
点评：We were there a few days ago with family for a Bhima Ratha Shanthi Pooja. We booked in advance with a priest for the Pooja and we were dissatisfied entirely. Below are some of those things.
1. The puja procedure wasn’t explained to us in detail in advance despite making multiple requests.
2. At the start of the Pooja, they listed nearly seven homams altogether, but everything was done in a jiffy.
3. The things kept for Navagraha homam were left untouched.
4. The priest with whom we were communicating didn’t come on time, later received us in the front and handed over to someone else and vanished. He arrived at the puja site when we were leaving just like the police in old Tamil movies when everything was over.
5. One of the garland they gave was couple of days old.
Below are some of the annoying things we faced:
1. The priests who conducted the pooja openly stated that we need to tip the three priests, when only two were performing and the third one swinged by at the end. All these are excluded in the hefty amount we were charged for the Pooja.
2. Cleaners pestering you for tips.
3. Cash on the salladai , worst is they tell you the denomination,
4. Tipping during Gaja and Cow Pooja
5. Finally after all this, we were handed over to one another new priest, who took us to all the swami sannidhis and ended the Pooja with none other than a tip.
6. When walking in the prakaram, we were constantly followed by people asking for money.
It felt like an organized money swindling place. The sanctity is lost in these ungodly human acts.
