Siruvani Water Falls的点评
点评：I visited this falls inJan 2024. I was advised to go there early about 10am to have enough time as the staff would clear the public by 3pm. The visitors go there with a change of clothes as they plan to bathe in the falls. It is believed that the water that flows carries with it the therapeutic qualities of the herbs that it flows through.
All visitors' bags will be checked for plastics. Bottles will be confiscated. Instead you would be given the Siruvani water at the foot of the falls to drinks. If you are a foreigner, please do bring your own water bottle filled with filtered drinking water. The falls water may not sit well with your tummy.
Tickets are sold at the entrance. Those who drive may park there. A bus or mini van would bring you in about 2km and the remaining 900m has to be covered on foot. The terrain is an uneven gentle slope, a little steep at places. The effort is a worth it price to pay for the scenery on the way up. When you reach the falls, you may stand at the top to enjoy the view, soak in the sprays and enjoy the incessant sound of the rushing waters. If you plan to bathe in the water, there are numerous metal steps to contend with in order to go down to the pooled water. I was also told that this falls may be closed unannounced when a surge in water flow is seen.
