My Honest Review of Guwahati Planetarium 🪐

点评：Last month, during my trip to Assam, I suddenly came across the Guwahati Planetarium. Honestly, it was not in my plan at all. However, the show timing matched perfectly with the time I was passing by, so I decided to visit it.
There were several shows available in different languages and at different show times. The security guard was very kind and cooperative and guided us properly. The entry fee was ₹50 per person for each show, which I found quite reasonable. The entire place was clean, well-maintained, and organized.
The show was conducted inside the distinctive dome using a projector, and I genuinely enjoyed it. It was informative, engaging, and created a wonderful opportunity for people interested in learning science, astronomy, and astronomical research. It really opens your mind to the vastness of the universe and encourages curiosity about space. One important thing to remember is that photography inside the show hall is not allowed.
After the show, we explored the small gallery, where different exhibits related to space, astronomy, and telescopes were displayed. It was interesting to see and helped us learn a few new things as well.
Overall, it was a nice experience. If you love astronomy, space, and science, you can definitely visit this place. It is also a great destination for students, educational trips, and seminars. I have also heard that they also organize outdoor viewing facilities on special occasions, which sounds quite exciting.
In a nutshell, Guwahati Planetarium is a well-maintained place with a reasonable entry fee, informative shows, and knowledgeable staffs. Therefore, it is definitely worth a visit if you are in Guwahati.
