点评：I've been to Kuwait a few times and you do have to really search to find the places of interest--but none is more interesting in Mirror House, which came highly recommended by a Kuwaiti artist. This is the private residence of Lidia Qattan and her late husband, Khalifa Kattan, a Kuwaiti artist who work deserves more international attention. Born in Italy, Lidia is a spry 89-year old with more energy than her visitors. She spent 50 years covering the house, floor to ceiling, in mirror designs--the whole house, including the bathroom. She also likes to talk philosophy. the planets and human nature, which is reflected in many of her designs. She's a delight, both childlike and deeply thoughtful, as is the entire experience. If you are lucky, she will also take you on a tour of her husband's paintings, which are rich and complex and quite genius. It's a family business, with daughter Jalila handling the business side and welcoming guests with as much enthusiasm as her mother.
