点评:My husband and I walked from Kentucky to Indiana. There were plenty of free parking spots near the bridge and along River Road. The ramp going up to the bridge on both ends is one quarter of a mile long and the bridge itself is a half a mile. The signs upon entering the bridge tells you that no pets are allowed. It also states no skates or skateboards, no motorized vehicles, and no scooters. We saw a lot of scooters and a few motorized bicycles on the bridge. It appeared that most of the people, on the bridge during the 2 p.m. hour, were there for exercise. We stuck out as tourist stopping to take a lot of pictures. There are some signs along the way to read on the bridge about the history of it. They also have benches so if anyone needs to rest or just wants to sit for a while. We would do it again. The Indiana side had a few restaurants as soon as you came off of the ramp. I saw in someone's photos it said dogs were allowed on a leash, but the photo was taken in 2013. As of June of 2025 it is posted in several locations no pets allowed. There are public restrooms at the end of each ramp. The Jeffersonville photo is on the Indiana side, looking down from the bridge.
