Disappointing experience

点评：I brought a friend up for a "daycation" experience and frankly, we were expecting more, especially for the price. When I made the reservation, I was advised that we could come early and use the biosphere pool, sauna, etc. before our appointments, but were not told that we could not access the spa locker room until 20-30 minutes before our massage appointments. It is being kind to say that the locker room for the pool area was akin to a public pool locker room. It was dirty, rundown, and had no amenities. There was one public shower with only shampoo and cold water. The toilet seat was cracked, faucets were non-functioning, and we just wanted to get in and out of there as quickly as possible. It was not the spa day vibe we were hoping for or expecting. The pool was small and crowded with children, as was the soaking pool and sauna. The massage itself was "fine"- nothing special. The apres foot soak was just ok - the chairs were an awkward height and my friend and I both had to lean forward on the edge of our seats so that our feet would reach the water. We were not allowed to keep our robes and slippers after the massage while we had lunch and went back to the pool. I asked specifically about the slippers because I had forgotten my flip flops and was basically told that too many people steal their stuff so I could not keep them a bit longer - ironically while I was paying the $900+ bill. I was the one feeling a bit robbed at that moment.
