100% satisfaction, glad I booked all my tours with Amo!
Amo Zanzibar Tours & Safaris的点评
点评：Usually I book my tours at different operators to reduce my chances to have a bad experience, but this time I trusted the good reviews and booked all our tours in Zanzibar with Noreen from Amo and I don't regret my choice!
- All guides were always on time and spoke good English
- Comfy, clean cars with free bottled water
- Great communication with Noreen and the rest of the team! Even when booking tours short notice or when my partner fell sick and could not join one of the tours short-notice (didn't have to pay for his seat)
We booked the following experiences:
Mnemba Island: The tour was provided in collaboration with Divepoint, which had very knowledgeable and responsible staff. E.g. they did not feed the fish like the other boats did and gave instructions on how to behave responsibly in the water. I am not sure if it was a coincident on that day but we had a bigger, traditional Dhow boat which meant that we had a lot of space on the boat compared to all the other tour boats that were tiny and cramped with people. The snorkeling experience itself was not that great because Mnemba island is in general very overcrowded, but the services provided by Amo were excellent.
Spice tour and visit to CHAKO: We went to the Shabuta spice farm first. Our tour guide at the spice tour was very knowledgeable and we saw and tasted all spices we hoped to experience. Instead of having lunch at this farm, he brought as to another farm instead, because he knew that they had better food and a nicer seating area. And he didn't lie, the lunch we had was mind-blowing, and the views amazing, overlooking a valley of palm trees. I read many bad reviews about the lunches at these spice farm tours, but I have to say it was one of the best meals I had in Zanzibar!
In addition, we went to CHAKO, an NGO that produces decorations and glasses out of wine bottles and other waste collected from hotels. a MUST VISIT in my opinion, so inspiring! And you will recognize that many hotels in Zanzibar are supporting CHAKO by buying their glasses, water bottle or other glassware.
Sunset cruise from Stone Town: This tour takes place on a beautiful traditional Dhow boat. The deckhand made very sure that our glasses were always full and we had the most delicious local snack onboard. The captain placed the boat perfectly when the sun set, so from start to end it was a beautiful experience!
Original Safari Blue: This tour is organized by the original Safari Blue operator, and it's a very well-organized day trip to a sandbank and different snorkel spots in the Menai Bay. The scenery is beautiful and the service was amazing, with drinks and snacks throughout the trip and an amazing beach BBQ at the beach with lobster ad libitum! After lunch we also got a tropical fruit tasting and coffee with Kaluha, a trip for all the senses! The snorkeling was not the greatest but nice if you are a beginner.
