Skala Kallonis Beach的点评
点评：I have just returned from Skala Kallonis, Lesvos, where I spent 10 days at Aegeon Hotel. The Island is beautuful in places, we visited Petra, Anaxos, Molyvos and Ereous, along with some smaller bays that were scattered with pretty taverners and harbours where blue and white fishing boats bobbed in the sun sparkling water.
There are a few small shops that sell tourist novilties, but in general the island is rustic with tones of old Greece everywhere.
Unfortunatly Skala Kallonis in my opinion didn't reach the same beautuful standards as other parts of the island, the beaches were littered with plastic bottles, tin cans and the stray cats and dogs used one end of it as their litter tray which can cause health hazards to children playing there.
The village square had a fountain in the middle which was lit up in the evenings and some lovely restaraunts where the food was good. Most people were friendly and helpful. I was suprised that olive oil is now sold in 20ml bottles which you were charged between 2 and 3 euros for in some eateries, it has always been part of the table condiments in over 30 years of travelling to Greek islands and can prove to be quite expensive when eating out over the length of your holidays.
The Aegeon Hotel where we stayed looks very pretty in the brochure, but is in need of some maintainence and up grading, its discribed as luxurious, but would be more appropriate discribed as comfortable. Some of the staff were very friendly and did anything they could to make our holiday enjoyable.
The salt pans were a lively place to see flamingoes, storks, wading birds, and other wildlife too.

我们入住的爱琴海酒店（Aegeon Hotel）在宣传册上看起来很漂亮，但实际上需要一些维护和升级。它被描述为豪华酒店，但用“舒适”来形容更为贴切。部分员工非常友好，尽一切努力让我们的假期愉快。
盐田是一个充满活力的地方，可以看到火烈鸟、鹳、涉禽和其他野生动物。
