Great course in excellent condition - curt check in staff.

点评：On the plus side this is a course in excellent condition, with some truly memorable holes, and as was advertised very large greens. I played it twice in the week I was on the island and enjoyed it a lot. Some great variety, a good test in a few places strategically, and a very fair course par and rating IMO. There is some elevation change, so if you like to walk (which I do) then hire an electric trolley! And carry a lot of water in the summer as there is no easy way to stock up on water refill until the 14th hole. A good test of golf with some tricky holes strategically (18 requires some careful planning). 7 is a great par 5 birdie opportunity if you commit to a big corner cut over the trees. On the not so positive side, it's expensive, and the service at the pro shop was curt, if not downright rude. Welcoming it was not! The marshal on course was a decent guy, although he asked me to start on the 10th as there was a big gap in the day so that when I got to the 1st it would be wide open - only to find that when I did get there they had added 3 four balls in front of me! Overall worth the splurge, and so far I would say only Alcanada compares in terms of course conditions. But don;t expect a nice welcome at check-in!
