Great fun and value for money at Dona Julia

点评：We have played Dona Julia Golf course for 4 years now in October and November and it’s been an improving experience.
Buying a 2 month membership was good value and easy as was booking tee times.
A coffee and a roll to take on the course was very good and fairly priced
The course is challenging (6 & 11 handicaps ) but fair.
Tees are much improved and moved on a regular basis
Greens were very good this year with pins moved often.
In years past there was too much watering but that seems to be improving too and drainage appears to have improved.
Rounds did not take too long and the other golfers we were paired with were great, only once being held up in 2 months is better than our home course.
Green fees still include a buggy, which are not new but all worked well, and a bottle of water each which is a nice touch.
We have played many courses down here and in our opinion DJ is very good value for money and we recommend having a round here. Every member of staff from front desk to bar , from green keeper to managers have been very good indeed
Cons- the bunkers have improved but are a little inconsistent and the odd hole is cut too high and good putts can pop out. There is a putting Green but no nets to warm up
