Gooree Park - An experience we will never forget!

点评：The most incredible cellar door I have ever been to! The new Gooree Park cellar door is located inside their historic stables, and is filled with history. As you walk in, there is a long table that fronts their extensive wine display. In either side there are wine tasting rooms which were actually stables of some of the thoroughbred racing champions bred there. We sat in the Crowned Glory “stable”, which filled with photos and memorabilia from her racing days.
Inside each room are couches that give the place a really lovely homey vibe.
Now for the wines. Wow. I didn’t realize the Mudgee area had such wonderful wine produce! The Limited Edition Crowned Glory Chardonnay had just won a silver medal at the Australian National Wine Show, so although we aren’t really white wine drinkers, we had to try it - it didn’t disappoint! What a drop!
Then onto the reds. We tried their Don Eduardo, Pinot Noir, and their new Trifecta. All quite different, but all standouts on their own! We ended up with a case of each and half a case of the Crowned Glory! Just couldn’t resist with such reasonable pricing on their range!
They also had a merchandise stable with really beautiful umbrellas, hats, and mugs; and a produce stable which had their very own Wagyu beef cuts! We were also told their sausages are nitrate free, which was wonderful.
All in all an experience we will never forget. Thank you to Brendon, Tanya, and the whole Gooree Park team who made us feel like a part of the Gooree Park story!
