The Garage Spa的点评
点评：Having visited the spa last year and having a lovely experience, we were looking forward to a trip back. We booked for a 3 hour spa experience with mud rasul. The package also included dinner and overnight stay in the hotel next door.
First of all, we were given a tiny locker to share between 2 of us. The spa was not full to capacity so I’m not sure why not 1 locker each. The robes are shabby and rough. The entire spa was cold, even the reception area where there was a log burner - not on! Even the staff were walking around in hoodies. The outdoor hot tubs were unusable as the water was lukewarm warm, the steam room not in use. One hot indoor hot tub which was obviously very popular. The recent renovations seemed to be unfinished with holes in the walls/ceiling and dirt around ledges and sockets.
The 2 staff forgot about our treatment (probably because they were busy chatting with a passer by in reception) and didn’t seem too pleased when we asked about it. As others have said, there wasn’t very much mud provided.
We completely agree with previous reviews that since the renovation there is no charm. There also seems to be no effort to make this a luxury experience. In fact, it was dirty and basic. We spent most of our 3 hours in the sauna trying to keep warm!
As a brief note - the hotel was also dirty and unkempt, although we found the food to be nice. Dirty sheets and towels were left piled up outside our room for the duration of our stay and the room had not even been vacuumed prior to our check in with bits all over the floor.
Not a nice experience at all - we won’t be returning.
