Colonial Quarter的点评
点评：I had high hopes for this experience, but found it to be somewhat underwhelming. The area is much smaller than I had anticipated. It was extremely slow when I visited, and I ended up getting a private tour. My guide was knowledgeable and fun, and made the visit much better than it would have otherwise been, so kudos to him. The blacksmith demonstration was by far the best part of the experience. Outside of the tour (which for me lasted just under 30 minutes - I was there for 45 minutes total), there is a watchtower to climb for views over the inlet and Castillo de San Marcos, a replica printing shop, and a walkway tracking the various flags that have flown over St. Augustine.
With more people inside the attraction, and on the tour, I imagine it would be a lot more fun, and take a little more time, but as it was for me, it was just okay. You can get a lot of the same information and experiences elsewhere in St. Augustine.
