Filthy Family Cabins

点评：We stayed in the Family Cabins. They were disgustingly dirty. Floors covered in dead bugs Cheerios candy bars wrappers and debris. The air conditioner using was moldy and black. The dishes had dried food on them, silverware was sticky, cups had dried coffee in them. When I stopped by the front desk to talk with them about it their responses with a smile and said , “Ok.” As if this was how it should be. They never offered to send their cleaning crew to clean, or change the AC filter. We cleaned and swept everything ourselves. Not what you want to do after a day of traveling. I asked them to change the AC filter which they did but didn’t clean the vents which remained black with mildew and debris. We had planned to eat several meals at the Inn restaurant but after experiencing their lack of cleanliness we changed our minds and ate in Nashville or our cabin after cleaning all their dishes. The coffee pot was also filled with moldy leftover coffee grounds. After asking they did agree to discount our stay but we would have preferred to pay full price in clean cabins!! The filth was a horrible and sad representation of Indiana at one of Indiana’s most beautiful state parks. This place was a family favorite when my kids were growing up. But we won’t be back.
