点评：Supposedly the best 🐠 🤿 in MRU - it’s not - by a distance! 5 min boat trip - not inexpensive - across to the fully protected marine reserve - very small - 50mins to swim gently around it all is all you need.
Positives - bigger fish than often seen, unicorns, needle fish, parrots, box, puffers, etc and more of them 🐠👍 - diversity though is fairly low.
Currents & visibility not an issue - definitely not always the case! Boats don’t go carving past you!
Negs: shockingly 90+% corals look like a post apocalyptic wasteland - long dead.
Where else: try Palmar on E coast, Balaclava Beach on NW coast - more to see, corals in better shape, though shallow at low tide, speedboats 🚤 watch out ⚠️. Coin de Mire off N coast very good - but costs a bit for a trip there - also to other N islands. S coast bays - better viz but often big currents - beware 👌!
