点评：We absolutely loved the premium tour and tasting we did here. Our guide (Sonia?) was lovely. She spoke so passionately and expressively about Port that she made you want to love it as much as her. We were with a really small group so she even let us see how the really old vintage Port is stored which felt like being let into a secret world of wine cellars with its cool, soft, fungus covered, cave-like atmosphere.
We learnt a lot about the process of making Port and the Portuguese way of making Port wine. The wine we tasted was delicious and she showed us how the really old port would be opened as normally the cork needs to be completely broken off and decanted. This Royal Port company - started by a Portuguese King and Marquis de Pombal is a true Gem of Porto.
