Went to see Sonic 3 with my daughter today only to find the screen was broken. Was offered to see another film which I declined. Manager Steve Barker was called who told me that an email was sent. There was no email in my inbox or junk folder. I was then told everyone was automatically refunded which there was no sign of in my bank or email. He went off and just like that I saw a refund come in...
When he came back I saw other parents who were also there for Sonic with a young lad crying his eyes out and I said "just so you know there are other people here for sonic" and he said "I will deal with that thank you" in a very rude manner.
I said what about the £3.40 I have just wasted on parking, and I was abruptly told "I don't manage the car park". I said surely, it's in your power to reimburse the value of the parking to which I was aggressively shouted at "Don't tell me what's in my power!"
I said he was being very rude and I was told that I was being very rude! I asked how and he said it was rude to say something was within his power!
No apology made, defensive and aggressive from the start.
Will be making an official complaint.
